Lane Grayson has resided in Ennis since he was six years old. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1988. After high school, he attended Navarro College and then went on to finish his Business degree with a major in Public Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
For over sixteen years, he was a contractor in Ennis and its surrounding area providing custom electrical construction to the local manufacturing community. Motor controls, custom electromechanical control cabinets and operator interface were the primary functions of his company. He has served many industrial areas from public works, medical, and manufacturing.
Commissioner Grayson serves with many local charitable organizations such as CASA and Heights of Ellis County. He has also served as a Chaplain with Victim relief Ministries where he helps provide spiritual and emotional support to victims of violent crimes.
Current occupational organization include Texas Association of Counties, Regional Transportation Council, and Local TIRZ boards.
Lane was elected as Ellis County Commissioner of Precinct 2 in November of 2014 and was sworn into office January 1, 2015.
He is married to wife Brooke of 29 years. They have 4 children Blake, Sam, Drew, and Olivia.
